RAHA, May 31 - Two students of Raha, namely Kuranga Nayan Hazarika of Salmara High School, Demow and Nishant Bora of Pranjal Memorial Academy, Garmari, bagged the 11th and 19th positions respectively in the HSLC examination, results of which were declared today.
Kuranga Nayan Hazarika, the only child of school teacher Narendra Nath Hazarika and Sumi Rekha Hazarika of Kujarbori village, Demow, Raha with 95.8% secured the 11th position. He scored 92 in English, 92 in Assamese, 100 in General Maths, 96 in General Science, 95 in Social Science and 100 in Advance Maths.
On the other hand, Nishant Bora, son of school teacher Manabendra Bora and Gitumoni Bora of Rajagaon, Raha with 94.5% secured the 19th position. He secured 94 in English, 86 in Assamese, 96 in General Maths, 94 in General Science, 98 in Social Science and 99 in Advance Maths.
