GUWAHATI, March 17 - Aiming to create awareness among young voters, the Kamrup (Metro) district administration organised a district-level quiz competition at the District Library here today.
According to a statement issued by the district administration, teams from Assam Engineering College won the first and second prizes, while the third prize was won by a team from Gauhati University Law College.
The winning teams will represent the district in the state-level quiz competition to be held at IIT Guwahati on March 24, where Dilip Sarma will be present as the quiz master.
Meanwhile, the district administration also staged a street play here yesterday in collaboration with Sishu Sarathi.
