JORHAT, Nov 29 � Two enthusiasts of Jorhat are striving for a Guinness World Record by performing some astonishing feats. At a press meet at Press Club here on Tuesday, the All Jorhat Manchurian Kung-fu Academy office-bearers revealed that two members of the academy namely Biki Hazarika and Sifu SS Sidhartha are aspiring to enter the Guinness World Records through their performances.

Biki Hazarika, a 12-year-old boy from Krishnanagar, Sarbaibondha here, will run 16 hours continuously and cross 160 kilometers to set record in the below 18 years category. He has already crossed the length from Jorhat to Sibsagar and again Sibsagar to Jorhat without stopping anywhere in between.

On the other hand, Sifu SS Siddhartha will perform as many as 30 �Yoga Asanas� on a moving motorbike. A promising Kung-fu player from Jorhat, he has been practicing his skills on motorbike since 2001. He is confident of creating a new record that nobody has ever attempted to do earlier.

Pranjal Dutta, president, All Jorhat Manchurian Kung-fu Academy addressing mediapersons said that the organisation is hopeful with the performance of the duo. Both are supposed to perform formally within the month of December.

Jitu Bora, secretary, AJMKA and Ujwal Bora, coach of Biki Hazarika were also present in the press conference here. Asam Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad is also going to provide all possible assistance to both the aspirants.
