SILCHAR, March 16 � A day after the BJP announced that sitting MP Kabindra Purkayastha would contest the 2014 Lok Sabha polls from the Silchar constituency, the party
cadres said that they are focused on a win and would work for the mission.
The BJP district president, Kaushik Rai said that though they had many ticket aspirants, everybody wanted to work to make Narendra Modi the next Prime Minister of
India. Former MLA Parimal Suklabaidya, one of the ticket aspirants, said, �We respect the party�s decision to give Kabindra Purkayastha the ticket to contest. We will
work for the greater cause.�
The district committee convened a meeting of the cadres to strengthen and motivate the team members to work in the ensuing elections.
