Punjab teachers to visit State from Feb 4

GUWAHATI, Feb 2 � Council for Teacher Education, Punjab Chapter comprising 12 members will be visiting the State from February 4 to 7 on a �Goodwill Mission & Teacher Exchange Programme� and will interact with the teaching community, students, academicians, educational administrators and people working in various capacities in the field of education on various academic related issues, visit various educational institutions in the State, stated a press release.

This programme will make a cordial relationship between the two States and will help in developing a network to work together for the progress in education in particular and betterment of the people in general.

As a part of the programme, the Punjab team will also interact with the CTE life members at Guwahati Press Club on February 4 at 5pm. The CTE Assam has requested all the members of CTE to be present in the interactive meet through the release.

It may be mentioned that Council for Teacher Education (CTE) is a pioneer and active professional organization of teachers working for professional development of the teaching community at all levels. Under the parent body, a number of Chapters of CTE has been opened and functioning in our country.
