GUWAHATI, May 18 � The Assam Sports Journalists Association (ASJA) has decided to offer fellowship to the scribes for write-ups on the subject � Cricket in Assam: Future and Challenge. Interested writers may apply for the fellowship with their bio-data and a gist on the subject within 500 words on or before June 20.
An amount of Rs 25,000 will be offered to the selected writer who may write in English, Assamese, Hindi or Bengali with a minimum of 10,000 words. The write-up will be be released in a book format on July 16. Students, journalists and sports lovers may apply for the fellowship, stated a release issued by ASJA secretary Bidyut Kalita.
