GUWAHATI, Oct 27 - The concluding function of the year-long Pulin Das Centenary Celebration will be held on November 1 � the birthday of Pulin Das.
The function will be held at the Vivekananda Kendra Auditorium here at 3.30 pm where the memorial key-note lecture on the topic �Sportsman and Sportsman Spirit � Both Equally Important� will be delivered by former State cricketer Bimal Bharali.
In the function, veteran sports organiser Tapan Dutta of Jorhat will be accorded public felicitation as a recognition to his lifelong contribution towards sports in Assam.
Earlier, the year-long Birth Centenary Celebration of Pulin Das began with a memorial meeting on November 1, 2018 in collaboration with Asam Sahitya Sabha at Jayanta Kumar Barua-Lakhimi Barua Hall at the Asam Sahitya Sabha premises where Larsing Ming Sawyan, eminent sports organiser and analyst, presented the keynote address �Northeast � A Hub of Sports Talent�.
