GUWAHATI, Feb 18 � Defending champions and host Oil India Limited (OIL) will play against Numaligarh Refinery Ltd (NRL) and last year�s runners up ONGC will lock horns with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) in two semifinals of the PSPB Inter Unit Football Championship at the SAI playground here tomorrow. After the league phase HPCL and NRL claimed top two positions and qualified for the semifinals.
In the last group league matches played today, NRL defeated IOC (AOD) 2-1 while HPCL beat EIL 1-0. Deepak Kakoty (2nd minute) and Bitupan Sonowal (60th minute) scored one goal each for NRL while Sadhan Dutta netted the lone goal for IOC (AOD) in the 19th minute. In the other match of the day, Alak Mondal scored the match winning goal in the 52nd minute.
