GUWAHATI, Dec 1 - One Anil Chandra Barman, who was serving as the personal security officer of the director of Dynasty Hotel located at Fancy Bazar, reportedly shot himself dead with his service weapon on the eighth floor of the hotel building late last night.
The reason behind Barman committing suicide is still not known. Police said although it appears to be a case of suicide, the case is being investigated from all possible angles.
Barman hailed from Nalbari, police said.
