DOOMDOOMA/DIBRUGARH/Tinsukia, July 16 - Dinabandhu Sharma (32), a member of the All Assam Bhojpuri Yuva Chatra Parishad (AABYCP) succumbed to his injuries at the Doomdooma FRU Hospital around 9 pm last night, even as life in Tinsukia district remained affected for the second day today due to the bandh called by the AABYCPs Tinsukia unit against the Philobari killings.
Sharma was injured in police lathicharge yesterday at Makum, where hundreds of people under the aegis of AABYCP blocked NH-37 and NH-38 in protest against the killing of one Nandalal Shah and his daughter Kajal at Philobari Bijulibon under Pengeri PS on Tuesday night by motorcycle-borne miscreants.
