GUWAHATI, Aug 17 - Advocates of Gauhati High Court today abstained from official proceedings as they opposed transfer of PILs from Itanagar and the Kohima benches to the Principal seat at Gauhati HC. The Gauhati High Court Bar Association appealed to the Chief Justice (acting) of Gauhati HC to transfer all the PIL�s to the respective benches. As the issue could not be resolved, the bar association abstained from the court as a mark of protest.
