NAGAON, Aug 22 - Reacting to the recent re-entry of the noted Assamese film as well as stage actor Jatin Bora to BJP, Chatra Somaj, Nagaon on Friday staged a protest and also burned his effigy on the old NH road near Nagaon Gopinath Deva Goswami Commerce College where Jatin Bora had studied.
During the protest, hundreds of students from several educational institutions shouted slogans against Jatin Bora.
Slamming the activities of the actor, the protesters criticized him as an opportunist and warned him not to play with the emotion of people of the State.
The agitators also said that their protest against him would continue and soon they will declare a public boycott of him.
