Several organisations staged a protest against the three new farm laws at Guwahati Club on Saturday.
The protest was a part of the ‘Delhi Chalo’ call which was given by the All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee. It was supported here by the Assam State Krishak Sabha, Nikhil Bharat Krishak Sabha and Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti among others. Protesters from outside the State including Punjab and Nagaland also took part in the protest.
The protesters gathered at 11 am at the Guwahati Club and started raising slogans in support of their demands.
