GUWAHATI, March 11 � The Police Commissionerate has prohibited illegal earth-cutting in the city with effect from tomorrow.
The order has been issued under Section 144 of the CrPC by NMASF Hoque, Commissioner of Police (In-Charge).
The order has been issued apprehending incidents of landslide in Guwahati city areas in view of the approaching monsoon that may cause serious threat to the life and property of the people.
