GUWAHATI, Sept 16 � Kamrup District Magistrate SK Roy in exercise of power section 144 CrPC prohibited assembly of five or more persons at any public place, carrying of arms/ammunition/explosives/weapons of any nature in public places or vehicles, all vehicular traffic and in procession, rally, meeting etc.
Besides, shouting slogans, inciting communal violence at any place, gambling in any public places and use of loud speakers through out the Kamrup district with immediate effect and until further orders, an official press release stated.
