GUWAHATI, Aug 4 - Coinciding with the death anniversary of noted litterateur, journalist, founder editor of Gariyoshi and Padma Bhushan award winner Chandra Prasad Saikia, an �Antaranga Alaap� on the topic, �The course of contemporary Assamese short stories,� will be organised at the Vivekananda Kendra auditorium here at 5 pm on August 8.

This was stated in a press release by the Chandra Prasad Saikia Memorial Day Celebration Committee. The interaction programme will be conducted by Gariyoshi editor Dr Lakshmi Nandan Bora.

Writers Jayanta Madhav Bora, Diganta Ojah and Arindam Borkotoky will take part in the programme which will be moderated by writer Phanindra Kumar Deva Choudhury.
