JORABAT, Sept 23 - An awareness meeting on COVID-19 and mental health was organised today at the Nartap panchayat office by the Department of Psychiatry of Sonapur District Hospital in association with Mobility India, Khetri.
Around 50 people of Nartap panchayat area attended the programme, the main objective of which was to create awareness on COVID-19 and associated mental health issues.
The resource persons were Hemanga Thakuria, psychiatric social worker and Rupali Barman, clinical psychologist. Project coordinators of Mobility India Linda Teron, Sandhya Thakuria and Hiramoni Das were also present.
