Prog on Communication and transactional analysis

GUWAHATI, Nov 3 - Dr Nilanjana Bagchi, head of the psychology department at Bethune College, Calcutta University held a workshop on communication and transactional analysis with the students of Royal School of Behavioural & Allied Sciences at the Royal Global University (RGU) here on Friday.

The workshop was a daylong�interactive session where students were facilitated to self-assess their communication skills, how to be effective listeners and give valuable feedback for the same.

Dr Bagchi, with specialisation in industrial/organisational psychology, spoke on several social issues like the adjustment of elderly and women empowerment in slums, organisations, rural and urban areas. She also had an engrossing interactive session through games and story sharing.

Dr Bagchi, apart from teaching, provides consultancy services in many national organisations like Gas Authority of India and Bank of India. She was welcomed with a gamusa and a memento at RGU.
