SUALKUCHI, Dec 10 - Rajib Lochan Dutta, assistant professor of Sualkuchi Budram Madhav Satradhikar (SBMS) College, was found dead in his Games Village apartment in Guwahati this morning. The incident came to light when his brother-in-law Bedabrat Mohan found him hanging in a room that was bolted from inside.
The wife of the deceased, Chinky Mohan Dutta, had asked her brother to visit her husband after she could not contact him over pone this morning.
Basistha police have sent his body to the GMCH for post-mortem. Dutta, who was born to Romen Kumar Dutta and Archana Dutta of Milan Nagar in Dibrugarh in 1987, joined SBMS College at Sualkuchi in 2015. He had earlier served in Dibrugarh University in 2013-2014. He leaves behind his wife and a two-year-old daughter.
