GUWAHATI, Oct 12 - The founder president of Veteran Cricket Association of Assam (VCCA) Prof Umesh Chandra Sarma memorial lecture was held here today.

Former Ranji cricketers Badal Thakur; senior journalist Premadhar Sharma; wife of Umesh Sarama, Minu Devi; ACA vice president Porikhit Dutta and a host of former cricketers like Bimal Bharali, Sankar Dutta Lahkar, Mukut Das, Zakaria Zuffri among others were present in the function.
