GUWAHATI, Feb 27 - Noted space scientist Professor Jiten Goswami will inaugurate the two-day Science Fair-2016, jointly organised by the Cotton College State University (CCSU) and the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology, at the Assam Engineering Institute playground in Chandmari with a lecture on the scene of space exploration in India. The fair will start at 10 am tomorrow.

According to a press release issued by CCSU Vice Chancellor Prof DJ Saikia, the inauguration of the fair would be followed by a UNICEF programme on water on the moon, a science quiz at 2 pm, a performance by the Dodora-based Hadgila Army at 4 pm and a talk on gravity waves by Debashish Borah of IIT-Guwahati at 5.30 pm. In addition, there are other programmes like science exhibition, mathematical puzzles and science film shows, said Prof Saikia.
