GUWAHATI, Feb 6 - The Producers� Council, an organisation of empanelled private producers and directors of Doordarshan in North East India, has condoled the death of noted filmmaker Jones Mahalia.
Mahalia was one of the advisers to the Producers� Council. The Council, in its condolence message, recalled the contributions of Jones Mahalia towards the Assamese film industry and his efforts to strengthen solidarity among the Assamese film fraternity.
