SILCHAR, July 30 - The All Cachar Karimganj Hailakandi Students�Association (ACKHSA) has demanded a judicial enquiry into the molestation incident at Assam University Silchar.
Rupam Nandi Purakayastha, chief advisor of the student body on Sunday said, �Professor Sudipto Sarkar, head, Department of Agricultural Engineering, the accused in the case should be immediately suspended from the university and exemplary punishment should be given to him so that such instances do not surface in the university in the coming days.�
