GUWAHATI, June 6 - A coordination committee of former students of Guwahati schools has demanded a probe into the fire incident at the Sonaram HS School located at Bharalumukh in the city.
In a release, the committee president Manoj Saikia condemned the despicable act and underlined the need to unearth the facts.
�It could be a conspiracy against Assamese-medium schools. A high-level investigation into the incident is required,� he said, also seeking an assessment of the damage to property and measures to repair it.
