Priyana gets US university scholarship

GUWAHATI, April 24 - Miami University at Ohio, Oxford, United States has offered a Sports Scholarship (Tennis) to Assam girl Priyana Kalita for four years under graduation (Bachelors) programme for her achievement in various junior international tennis tournaments played in the year 2016-17.

During the 4-year bachelors programme, Priyana will get a total amount of Rs 1 crore 35 lakh as academic scholarship money to complete her bachelors degree in Sports Leadership and Management. Apart from academic scholarship Priyana will be sponsored by Adidas to play tennis for the Miami University REDHAWK Women�s Tennis Team.
