PRISM for strict enforcement of Conduct Rules

By Newmai News

AIZAWL, July 9 - Mizoram anti-corruption watchdog PRISM has asked the State Government to enforce CCS Conduct Rules 1964. It alleged that no government in Mizoram has so far dared to strictly enforce the conduct rules resulting in rampant corruption in the State.

The anti-corruption watchdog pointed out that the conduct rules disallow government servants to join politics, take part as candidates election agent, polling agent, run business, own consultancy firm, purchase stock, shares and debenture in a company, and also be an agent of insurance agency, etc.
