GUWAHATI, April 4 � To ensure primary education to all the children of the State in the age group of 4 to 14 years, the Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission has launched a mass mobilisation campaign through street plays in different districts of the State.
In one such campaign, the SSA along with Eight Brothers Social Welfare Society staged street plays at weekly haats (markets) of Sonitpur district, mentioned a press release.
Eight Brothers implemented the project under the supervision of its administrative officer Tikendrajit Borah and assistant secretary Prafulla Borah from March 14 to March 17, 2010 and March 28 to March 30, 2010 in two phases at 24 different weekly and daily haats under Bihali and Chuddar development blocks in Sonitpur.
The drama, Aami Puhar Bichari Jaun, scripted by the Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission, Assam was directed by Dilip Borah, the release mentioned.
