GUWAHATI, Aug 14 � Nawab Imdad Hussain, IGP (Special Operation Unit), Kahilipara, has been among the nation�s 60 recipients of the President�s Police Medal for Distinguished Service which would be formally presented during the Independence Day function in New Delhi tomorrow, an official release said.
Those selected for the President�s Police Medal for Gallantry include Mugdha Jyoti Dev Mahanta, Dipul Chandra Das, Lamhao Doungel, Prasanta Kumar Dutta, Babul Hainary, Biren Saikia, Singha Ram Mili and Jayanta Sarathi Bora.
Those honoured with the Police Medal for Meritorious Service are Jahirul Haque, Dinabandhu Das, Rameswar Kurmi, Nipen Daimary, Dharma Narayan Aditya and Shyam Das.
