GUWAHATI, April 16 � President Pratibha Patil arrived on a two-day visit to the State this afternoon. She is scheduled to launch a programme on �Access to justice and socio-economic development of north-eastern States� at the Pragjyoti ITA Complex at 10-30 am tomorrow.
The President who arrived at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi International Airport at 4-05 pm was given a ceremonial welcome by Governor JB Patnaik and Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi. Patil, who is staying at the Raj Bhavan today, was scheduled to attend a dinner and a cultural programme at Hotel Brahmaputra Ashok later tonight.
