GUWAHATI, March 28 - The Maya Media Awards-2018 will be presented to 28 personalities from across the State at a function to be held at the Madhabdev Auditorium of the Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra here at 4 pm tomorrow, a press release said.

The awardees include Hemanta Dutta and Dasarath Das (mobile theatre), Mahendra Hazarika and Jitul Sonowal (music), Jayanta Baruah (print media development), Rafikul Hussain (amateur drama), Chandra Mudoi (cinema), Leena Sarma and Rumi Laskar Bora (literature), Sanjive Narayan (Assamese film development), Atanu Bhuyan (electronic media), Bidyut Kumar Bhuyan (cultural journalism), Bulbul Hussain (humour and satire), Basanta Baruah (culture), Suren Phukan (social activism), Utpal Phukan (Assamese language promotion), Bandeep Goswami (news presentation), RJ Alia (radio jockey), Fatik Neog (social service) and Leela Madhab Saikia (youth organiser).

Well-known writer Ranju Hazarika will also be honoured with the title �Sahitya Sagar� at the function.
