KOKRAJHAR, Dec 17 � Under the aegis of Inter-denominational Churches, Kokrajhar, an inter-denominational pre-Christmas was celebrated here at the Don Bosco HS School campus on Saturday evening in a befitting manner.
A good number of Christ followers joined the celebration. The celebration started with prayers through a choir led by Mahesh Narzary, Rwmwi Smti Elia and party and was followed by invocation prayer. Reo Reoa Narzihary, chairman of the celebration committee and EM of BTC gave the welcome address while Rt Rev Thomas Pulloppillil DD, Bishop of Bongaigaon Diocese gave the Christmas message. The word of inspiration was given by Rt Rev Nityananda Borgoyary, Bishop NELC.
Prosenjit Basumatary, associate secretary, BBCA, Robinson Mushahary, secretary BTC, Carol Narzary, secretary, BTC, Rev Fr Damin Basumatary, principal, Don Bosco, Kokrajhar, Pramila Rani Brahma, MLA, Kokrajhar among others were also present on the occasion.
The general secretary of the organising committee, Jacob MO offered the vote of thanks. The theme of the programme was �Behold. I bring you good news of great joy for all the people�.
