Powerlifting meet

GUWAHATI, Nov 30 - Assam State Inter District Power Lifting Championship for Men and Women will be held from December 4 to 6 at Borpathar Baruwari Puja Mandap, Borpathar, stated a release. The meet will be organised by the Dhansiri District Physical Culture Association under the aegis of Assam Power Lifters Association affiliated to National Power Lifters Federation.

Championship will be held for various weight categories in junior, senior and masters events. Assam team will be selected from the championship for the Junior and Masters National Power Lifting Championship to be held at Indore, Madhya Pradesh from December 16 to 18.
