Power supply disruption in Jorhat for 4 days

JORHAT, Feb 10: The Assistant General Manager of Jorhat Division I of APDCL Robert Handique has informed that power supply will be disrupted in certain areas of Jorhat town under Jorhat Electrical Sub-division II from February 10 to 14 from 6 AM to 11.30 AM due to shutdown of 11 KV feeder in view of work to be undertaken under the Integrated Power Development Scheme.

Handique stated that areas affected will be KB Road, Mithapukhuri, Garali, Babupatty, Old Balibat, New Balibat, Thana Road, Dewal Road, Baraunibat, AT Road and Thakurbari.

The APDCL official said that IPDS scheme was aimed at strengthening of sub-transmission and distribution network in the urban areas
