GUWAHATI, March 21 - In a bid to encourage and facilitate people engaged in poll duty, the Kamrup Metro Election District will put in place a web-based Postal Ballot Tracking System.
The voter applying for postal ballot through Form 12 will get an SMS regarding the dispatch of the postal ballot paper to him or her and will be able to track the receipt of the same through the district�s website kamrupmetro.in.
The Election District has asked the personnel engaged in poll duty to put their mobile numbers in the form while sending the Form 12 application for postal ballot.
