TURA, Jan 9 - Extremely poor network connectivity provided by mobile service providers has come under fire from residents all over Garo Hills.
Mobile and internet services are provided in Garo Hills by BSNL, Airtel, Reliance, Vodafone, Aircel and Idea. However, most of the service providers don�t even have a customer service point to provide information on outages or service disruptions.
�It seems they have forgotten after sales service to consumers. This is cheating and the companies should understand that customers will not be silent forever. Even in places where 3G services are provided, the speed is pathetic�, alleged AK Sangma, a resident of North Garo Hills.
Most complaints, however, related to service provided by Reliance. The services of the network have been on the decline since the past two months. The complaints against the networks have now become the norm in all parts of Garo Hills.
