Diphu, March 4: As per the directive of Election Commission of India the polling officials and the media persons those who have been engaged in conduct of this ensuing assembly election got vaccinated in Karbi Anglong hill district.
According to a circulated press note by Karbi Anglong district administration, vaccination sites for election officers, polling personals and media persons have opened in different health centres in Diphu, Howraghat and Bokajan subdivisions.
As per the press note polling personals have been given vaccination at Manja in the cold chain points like at Manja Block PHC, Dhansiri MPHC and Borlangphar CHC while the covid vaccination being given at Bokajan CHC, Dilai SD, Borpathar MPHC, Balipathar MPHC, Cowkihola PHC, Deithor, Dolamara and Rongmonwe MPHC under Bokajan subdivision.
In Diphu, polling officers as well as media persons have been vaccinated at Diphu Urban Centre, Rongkhelan and Diphu Medical College & Hospital.
On the other hand, Covid vaccination has also been given to all polling officials in the respective cold chain points under Howraghat Block like at Phuloni MPHC, Howraghat CHC, Rajapathar MPHC, Bakalia CHC, Langhin MPHC, Dokmoka MPHC, Balijuri MPHC and Dentaghat MPHC respectively.
