GUWAHATI, March 15 - The notification for the elections to the four Legislative Assembly constituencies located in Kamrup Metro district was issued today.
Notification was issued for the four Assembly constituencies of the district � No 51 Jalukbari, No 52 Dispur, No 53 East Guwahati and No 54 West Guwahati.
Officials said that a few nomination papers were obtained today by some candidates and their supporters, but no nomination papers were filed.
The last date for filing of nomination papers is March 22. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be taken up at 11 am on March 24 and the last date for withdrawal of candidature will be 3 pm on March 26.
The four constituencies in the city, along with the rest of Lower Assam, will go to polls on April 11.
