GUWAHATI, March 27 - The Election Commission�s Expenditure Observer for Kamrup Metropolitan Election District, Umashankar Prasad Kushwaha, has arrived here.
Today he interacted with officials of the flying squad teams and static surveillance team at Circuit House and urged them to ensure that the EC�s guidelines with regard to poll expenditure are adhered to. He inspected the Video Viewing Cell of the Kamrup Metropolitan Election District.
Meanwhile, during a drive against autorickshaws etc., displaying posters of candidates and parties without prior permission of the Election Cell, 16 autorickshaws were seized on Saturday and notices served against the drivers.
