Police seize several items from Olivia and her accomplice

GUWAHATI, Aug 10 - The police have seized a number of items, including costly suits, bags, purses, belts, etc., from the possession of Olivia Dutta Choudhury, the prime accused in the IndusInd Bank fund misappropriation case, and her accomplice Biswajit Ghosh.

The police said the five seized suits cost around Rs 75,000 each, while the belts cost around Rs 20,000 a piece and the ladies� bags Rs 68,000 each. �The items were purchased by the duo at high-end malls in Delhi and Mumbai,� the police added.

Olivia, a former deputy manager of IndusInd Bank, was remanded to four days� police custody by the Court of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Assam, on Wednesday. She is facing multiple charges under sections 120(B), 409, 420 and 468 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
