GUWAHATI, June 27 � A book of poems titled Dusk to Dawn: Journey of Faith and Hope, written by Bireswar Haldar, a railway officer working at Maligaon headquarters of the NF Railway was released here this evening by DN Bezboruah, veteran journalist and former editor of The Sentinel.
Releasing Haldar�s maiden book of poems, Bezboruah said the poems reflected the humanistic concern of the poet towards the various ills of our society. PJ Baruah of The Assam Tribune who was the guest of honour on the occasion congratulated Haldar for keeping a fine balance in life as an accounts officer and a poet and hoped that his writings would make a mark in the coming days. Poet Haldar, speaking on the occasion, gave an overview of the poems in his book.
