NEW DELHI, March 22 � Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh is likely to attend the platinum jubilee celebrations of the Assam Assembly on April 7, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said.
A formal invite to the Prime Minister and Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kaumar to take part in the two-day function organised by Assam Government was extended by a high-level delegation comprising Nilomani Sen Deka and Prithibi Majhi.
