PM Modi to bolster BJP campaign in Tripura

AGARTALA, April 5 - Aiming to boost the BJP�s campaign in Tripura, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be arriving here to address an election rally at Udaipur on April 7, party sources said.

An SPG team along with ADG Rajiv Singh and SP (Crime Branch) Abhijit Saptarshi visited the ground to supervise the security arrangement for the mega event.

Two Range Rover vehicles have already been flown here for the Prime Minister�s visit but he will go to Udaipur by chopper.

Party sources said BJP national secretary Sunil Deodhar would be arriving here tomorrow and remain present in the Prime Minister�s rally. BJP national president Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are also coming here to hit the party�s campaign trail.

Police have been asked to beef up security arrangements in and around Udaipur. Additional Central forces have already been deployed in the area.
