GUWAHATI, March 6 � The Guwahati District ME Teachers� Association has urged the authorities concerned to ensure release of salary and pension of a number of teachers and employees of Dimoria block who have been denied of their dues because of the failure of the authorities to hand over financial power to the Dimoria block elementary education officer who has also been entrusted with the responsibility of school sub inspector.

In a statement, the association said that if the stalemate continues, it would be compelled to launch an agitation.
