GUWAHATI, July 3 � The Satra Mukti Sangram Samiti (SMSS) gave a call to the Rector of Gauhati University Dr Hari Prasad Sarma to urgently declare the results of re-evaluation of answers script before the commencement of the upcoming academic session (2015-16).

Talking to this correspondent, vice-president of (SMSS) Subrat Talukdar said that many students of Gauhati University miss out from enrolling their names in the new academic session because of the delay in re-evaluation. He also urged that people involved in the whole re-evaluation process to do the required work within the limited time frame, keeping the best interest of the students.

In response, Rector Sarma said that the process of re-evaluation is going on and assured that the results would be declared before the admission process starts so as to facilitate the student�s fraternity��, he added.
