DIBRUGARH, Aug 26 - The district�s first �plasma hero� Satish Kedia donated plasma for a second time yesterday, an official release stated.
Satish Kedia is the first plasma donor from the district who donated plasma at the Assam Medical College Plasma Bank on August 4 on the opening day of the Plasma Bank.
Seven members of the Kedia family had tested positive in Dibrugarh between June 15-17, 2020 and recovered gradually. Three members of the family � Satish, Radhika and Yuvraj had already donated plasma for the first time this month.
Among the plasma donors, Satish became the first donor of Dibrugarh to donate plasma for the second time in a single month. The district administration had felicitated all the three plasma donors of the family during the Independence Day celebration on August 15.
The administration appreciated the plasma donor for his noble gesture towards humanity and for dispelling the stigma and myths around donating plasma.
