GUWAHATI, June 17 � The State Government has invited suggestions and objections in respect to its notification issued on June 9 this year, which expressed the intention of the Government to add any employment in the plantation sectors of tea, rubber, coffee and cinchona as semi-skilled workers for the purpose of fixation of minimum rates of wages proportionate to the category in accordance with the law.
The suggestions and objections should reach the State Government on or before the expiry of three months with effect from June 9, said an official press release.
