GUWAHATI, Dec 5 - After being shut for over eight months, the Guwahati Planetarium will reopen for visitors from tomorrow as per the advisory of Department of Science and Technology, Government of Assam.
�The planetarium was shut down since the nationwide lockdown announced in March, 2020 to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. However, with the situation gradually returning to normalcy, the planetarium would reopen with some new facilities,� said Kimnei Changsan, director, Guwahati Planetarium.
Norms of social distancing and all other protocol mandated by the government for the COVID-19 pandemic will be strictly followed, she added.
