GUWAHATI, Aug 5 - The city crime branch recovered a .32 mm pistol along with nine live bullets in front of the College of Veterinary Science at Khanapara here today.
A team of eight persons have been detained in this regard. They have been identified as Albert Khan, Riaj Ali, Pradip Deka, Tankeswar Das, Jintu Ahmed, Bhadreswar Das, Pranjal Roy and Bikash Gogoi.
Two four-wheelers were also seized in this connection. A police source said they were carrying out this operation from Dhupdhara to Guwahati.
