TIHU, July 10 - The new committee of the All Assam Sports and Physical Instructors� (PI) Association was formed in the 9th�conference of the association held recently at Nagaon.
Mahendra Bora of Nagaon was elected as president of the 31-member committee while Rajen Gohain (Golaghat), Ananta Hazarika (Sivasagar), Ratul Goswami (Nalbari) and Tankeswar Oja (Sonitpur) became vice presidents.
Kalyan Barman of Nalbari has been elected as the general secretary.
Other office bearers are:�Binoy Medhi (Kamrup), Dilip Das (Barpeta) and Naseruddin Ahmed (Barpeta) all joint secretaries; Prafulla Dutta (Golaghat), Debajit Deka (Nalbari) and Surajit Gogoi (Dibrugarh) all assistant secretaries; Bipul Kr Saud (Nalbari) treasurer; Rumi Bhuyan (Kamrup), Dibakar Medhi (Bongaigaon), Dandiram Lahkar (Darrang), Rafikul Islam (Darrang), Prabhat Bora (Nagaon), Narayan Handique (Dhemaji), Simanta Baishya (Morigaon), Ranjit Gogoi (Biswanath) and Keshab Gogoi (Sivasagar) all organising secretaries.
