GUWAHATI, July 18 - The final match of the Pilik Choudhury Memorial U-14 Inter District School Football Championship will be played at the Nehru Stadium here tomorrow.

Nakachari HS School of Jorhat district will play against Mahmora Dipling HS School of Sivasagar in the summit clash. In two semifinals played at the Nehru Stadium here today, Nakachari boys edged past Rajdhar Bora HS School, Azhara of Kamrup (M) 2-1 on the first ground. Joydeep Gogoi scored both the goals for the Nakachari school while Debash Borkotoky reduced the margin converting a spot kick. On the second ground of the stadium, the Sivasagar team beat Abahyashwari HS & MP School of Bongaigaon district 1-0 scored by Akash Majhi.

Earlier, in the quarterfinals, Bongaigaon beat Dhemaji 5-2 in tie-breaker after playing 1-1 draw while Sivasagar also beat Baksa school 5-3 in penalties after the match was ended 1-1. Jorhat edge Barpeta 1-0 and Kamrup (M) got the better of Kokrajhar by an identical margin. The tournament has been organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare. The champion team will qualify to play in the U-14 Subroto Cup Football Tournament to be held in New Delhi.
